One of the reasons for studying is to answer the question, 'why do I take photographs?'. The latest iteration of the answer, written on 15May20, during C&N is,
T o produce a visual representation of something that merits this attention in such a way as to do the subject justice †.
All these judgements are necessarily subjective and the terms deliberately ambiguous.
